Shaping Tomorrow at the London Podcast Festival 2025 – A Historic First!

I am so proud to announce that Shaping Tomorrow will be featured at this year’s London Podcast Festival and it’s a real moment of history in the making.

Shaping Tomorrow is the first-ever deaf-led video podcast to be featured in any podcast festival in the UK, in a space that is traditionally been audio-first and often inaccessible, we are breaking new ground by putting deaf voices, BSL and inclusive storytelling front and centre on a national stage.

Our live show will take place on Saturday 14th September 2025 at Kings Place, London and will be a celebration of resilience, accessibility and visibility. The conversation will explore the journeys, challenges and successes of exceptional deaf and hearing professionals with full accessibility through British Sign Language.

Guests are still to be announced, but we are hoping to bring together some incredible individuals who continue to inspire, disrupt and shape the future of their industries. We will be sharing more details soon.

To say this is a proud moment would be an understatement. When I created Shaping Tomorrow through Hear Art, myself and Sam Arnold wanted to create something real, beautiful and empowering, something that didn’t compromise on access, ambition or quality. To now see it recognised at a major UK podcast festival is deeply meaningful.

This moment is for every deaf creative who’s been overlooked, every unheard story and everyone pushing to make the creative industries truly inclusive.
