WORKSHOP

Community Workshop Lead

My photography workshops are designed to create access and inclusion for people who are often left out of artistic opportunities. Each session is a hands-on experience while developing skills in photography, storytelling and visual literacy. The structure is adaptable and can be tailored to the needs of any organisation, ensuring that everyone can engage fully and meaningfully.

The workshop includes show-and-tell and lets participants share their images and stories, turning learning into confidence and collective pride. The methodology draws on the success of my founding project, Shine Camera Club, which has been recognised for its positive impact on children facing significant challenges.

My photography workshops promotes universal accessibility, breaking down barriers, enabling participants to communicate and create regardless of language or academic background. They empowered storytelling, giving underrepresented communities a platform to share their narratives on their own terms and offering ownership and validation of their perspectives. The process is both therapeutic and collaborative: creating images offers focus, mindfulness and a safe outlet for emotions, while encouraging collaboration, peer learning and stronger community connections.

CONSULTATION

Community Engagement for Corporates and Social Organisations

My work with corporate or social organisations focuses on designing and delivering community-focused projects that make a real difference for underrepresented communities. Accessibility and inclusivity are central to this work, making sure everyone can take part and benefit fully. Through tailored programmes, workshops, and partnerships, companies are guided to connect with local groups, understand community needs and develop initiatives that empower participants while building skills, confidence and a sense of agency.

These projects are about more than just impact, they are about authenticity, giving people a platform to share their stories and creating meaningful change that lasts. At the same time, they help organisations strengthen social responsibility, inspire employee engagement, and make their work genuinely count in the communities they serve.

Inclusive & Accessible Practices for the Creative Industries

Helping creative organisations, cultural institutions and media productions embed inclusivity and accessibility at the heart of their work is a key focus. Drawing on over a decade of experience, expertise is offered in consulting on strategies, projects and creative processes to ensure underrepresented communities are authentically represented. This includes designing accessible programmes, advising on inclusive storytelling in film and media and creating environments where all participants can fully engage.

Inclusivity and accessibility is a key part of this approach, advising on film, media and creative content that reflects diverse voices. Community partnerships are built by creating authentic collaborations with local and grassroots organisations. A culture of equity is nurtured by driving lasting change that places accessibility and inclusion at its core.

SPEAKER

Event Host & Facilitator

I speak and participate on panels about access, inclusivity and creating space for underrepresented and working-class voices. Organisations often mirror societal inequalities, leaving groups excluded because of race, class, disability, gender or other factors. Highlighting these gaps and creating opportunities isn’t just about fairness, it drives creativity, innovation and untapped talent, while giving people the chance to see themselves reflected in stories, roles and spaces. Representation validates experiences and signals that all voices are valued.

With over a decade of experience in community-led, social and creative projects, I demonstrate how organisations can take bold, thoughtful risks when engaging overlooked communities, unlocking new ideas and untold stories. Embedding inclusivity builds a stronger, more empathetic communities and workplace culture, encouraging belonging and long-term systemic change.

I have spoken at cultural institutions such as the Punk, Rage and Revolution exhibition at Leicester Museum and hosted events for the Wimbledon Book Festival and London Podcast Festival. My talks are practical, hands-on and inspiring, offering strategies to break down barriers, build accessible spaces and champion diversity in ways that make the arts vibrant, relevant and impactful.
