This weekend, Hear Art brought its video podcast Shaping Tomorrow to the London Podcast Festival for a special live edition. The event featured two incredible guests: Troi Lee MBE, founder of Deaf Rave, and Chloe Straw, CEO of Audio UK.
The conversation was amazing, Troi inspired the audience with his journey as a deaf DJ, sharing how he overcame barriers in the DJ industry to set up Deaf Rave and continues to advocate passionately for the deaf community. Chloe offered valuable insights into accessibility and the future of podcasting. Together, they brought fresh perspectives and meaningful dialogue to the forefront, showing how video podcasting can amplify voices that are often unheard.
We are so grateful to Troi, Chloe and the London Podcast Festival team for making the event possible. The response from the audience was overwhelmingly positive and we are thrilled to have been invited back next year with hopes to run workshops that continue to push inclusivity and accessibility in podcasting.
