The British Short Film Awards 2021

In 2020, I had the privilege of serving as one of the judges at the British Short Film Awards, alongside the wonderful Aimee Lou Wood, Elizabeth Lail, Samuel Adewunmi and tp industry professionals. It was inspiring to watch and celebrate such a diverse range of short films and the talented creatives behind them. The following year, in 2021, I was deeply honoured to receive the Founders Award alongside Rachel Shenton, in recognition of our work with Hear Art and its mission to champion deaf talent in the film industry. The event was more than just a glamorous evening, it was a moment to reflect on and celebrate the dedication, collaboration and passion that have shaped our projects. To be both a judge and later an award recipient at an event that champions the very best of UK short filmmaking is an honour and a wonderful experience.
