This year I was honoured to join the judging panel at It Takes a Village Film Festival in Brixton, founded by Tsion Martin of Bridge the Gap. The weekend celebrated the brilliance of young Black filmmakers, whose bold, powerful stories lit up the screen. More than a festival, ITAV honours underrepresented creatives and the ‘villages’ who support them, building a vibrant, diverse community for the future of film.

On July 29th, 2024, THAMES visited Shine Saturday School to skate and unveil Mark Gonzales scarf designed by the children at Shine Merton.
