This year, I had the privilege of hosting an evening at the Wimbledon Book Festival with poets Raymond Antrobus and James Massiah. Raymond’s readings from The Quiet Ear were intimate, drawn from the deep memories that shape his world, while James offered sharp reflections on pleasure and modern life. The room was electric, a night of shared thought, creativity and connection.

Excited to be hosting for the first time at this year’s Wimbledon BookFest, in conversation with two poets I deeply admire, Raymond Antrobus and James Massiah. It’s an honour to be part of a festival I have long enjoyed and to work with Fiona Razvi and her brilliant team.
